Achari Aloo : Potatoes tempered with spices

Ingredients

  • Baby Potatoes peeled 8 pcs.
  • Amerkila Roasted Achar Masala 3Tbs
  • Cooking Oil – As per requirement
  • Tomatoes 3 – 4
  • Coriander Powder 1 Tbs
  • Cumin Seed 1/2 Tsp

Preperation Method

Step 1

Take requisite quantity of cooking oil in a Pan. Fry potatoes in oil in low flame till the color of potatoes turns light brown (10 – 12 minutes)

Step 2

Grind tomatoes to make puree.

Step 3

Heat 2-3 Tbs oil in pan till it smoke and then add 1/2 tsp cumin seed and saute for half a minute. Add tomato puree and 1 Tbs coriander powder and 3-4 Tbs ‘Roasted Achar Masala’ in it and let it cook for 10-12 minutes. Put fried potatoes in it and and cook it for 2-3 minutes more. Delicious Achaari Aloo is ready.

Step 4

Serve hot with chapaties or rice.
